If deep sea fishing is the kind of activity you are looking for, a few local, experienced commercial boat operators and fishermen offer excursions to several different parts of the Golfo Nuevo. The primary attraction here, commonly known as sea salmon, is the Sand Perch, often weighing in at more than 20kg. Other local species include, Sea Bass, Sea Bream, Mackerel, Silver Porgy and with a bit of luck the occasional shark.Half day excursions are offered, fishing locally, and full day excursions out to the mouth of the Gulf, for those with a taste for adventure and more action on the rod.

Several options are available for the observation and interpretation of local wildlife.
