The gastronomy of Puerto Pirámides is based on local products such as seafood and the catch of the day. The dish that represents our town was created in 1987, in one of the first restaurants: scallops au gratin with Parmesan cheese and white wine.
In addition to the traditional dishes of Argentine, Spanish and Italian gastronomy, the local cuisine has adapted to the new habits of visitors, becoming more natural, adding vegetarian and vegan options, whole grain products, and healthy meals. The town has a craft brewery that manufactures beer with desalinated seawater, an artisan bakery, and several shops to stock up on.
